Personal Information:
     Jim & Mary Thompson are no strangers to buying and selling homes. In their 30 years of marriage Jim's previous job with the telephone company forced them to move 12 times. Twice they sold their home prior to the move. They've packed the boxes, cleaned out the garage and prepared to move the family to a new home. You can believe them when they say, "We know what you're going through." Jim & Mary and their family share a deep appreciation for the high quality of life to be found here and enjoy how each season offers them an unlimited array of things to see and do. If they're not enjoying the outdoors snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting or fishing, you'll find Mary cooking and baking goodies or spending time with the Grandchildren.

     As residents and business owners they feel it's important to give back to the community. Thru their membership in the Chamber of Commerce they work to keep the area the popular vacation spot that it is for tourists while maintaining the friendly hometown atmosphere they enjoy as year round residents. Currently Mary serves on the Legislative and Ambassador Committees and on the Chamber Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Cassian Helping Hands Auxiliary. Jim is a Trail Ambassador and Safety Patrol Officer for the Oneida County ATV Association. An avid sportsman, in addition to being a member of both the Harshaw Sports Club and the Minocqua Gun Club, he also serves on Minocqua's Board of Directors. They both serve as the Town of Cassian Representatives on the Oneida County Disaster Assessment Team and take an active role in the activities of their church.

Professional Information:
     Mary began her real estate career at an office in Tomah, Wisconsin in 1994. After making the transition from "weekenders" to full time residents she continued her passion for helping people achieve their real estate goals. Jim joined her in real estate in 1996 and has the same passion and commitment to customer service that Mary does. They have been consistent top producers receiving many Listing and Sales Awards. Through continuing educational courses and technology they continue to challenge themselves and their abilities for personal growth while providing their customers and clients with the best service possible.

     As Real Estate Brokers and REALTORS®, they are members of the Wisconsin and National Board of Realtor's, and the Northwoods Association of Realtor's. Mary has earned the respect of her piers and has served as Treasurer, President Elect and President of the Northwoods Association, Treasurer of the Greater Northwoods MLS, chair of the Public Relations Committee and a member of the Professional Standards Committee. In addition she has served on the Legislative Committee at the State level.
